MARIE-ASTRID HULOT
Marie-Astrid Hulot was born in 1997. Received unanimously at 14 at the CNSM de Paris in Olivier Charlier's class she graduated there with distinction. She then passed her Konzertexam at the Koln Hochschule and was admitted to the Kronberg Academy in Mihaela Martin's class in "professional studies" where she has also the opportunity to work with Gidon Kremer, Sir Andras Schiff or Christian Tetzlaff. In March 2019 she was awarded the 2nd prize at the Carl Nielsen International Violin Competition. Marie-Astrid was awarded the Maurice Ravel Prize at Ravel academy during the summer 2021. She participated to the Ozawa's Academy in 2013 and 2018. Since December 2018, she is a laureate of the Banque Populaire foundation and was chosen as Révélation Classique by ADAMI in 2019. In 2016, she won the 2nd Prize of the Peccatte's International Violin Competition. She performed as a soloist with several orchestras : the Beethoven Bonn orchestra or the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. Concertmaster of an orchestra, she played at the Konzerthaus in Berlin and at the Paris' Philharmonie. Her first album recorded in October 2015 is dedicated to works for solo violin from J.S Bach to Eric Tanguy and was acclaimed by the critic . "Great talent" ( P . Zukerman ) "Very talented" (I.
